A glimmer of an idea is forming for NaNo. In fact, 2 ideas. So, I need to choose between one or the other. They are 2 totally different genres, one would be mainstream fiction with some supernatural elements. The other would be middle-grade fiction.
I still haven't buddied up with anyone this year. I plan to do that eventually...

I'm hab318princess (keeping my imagination for stories) and registered for Nano 2012... have a plot and characters ... too many minor characters , but I'm determined to do it again!

I've signed up for a local area forum on the NaNo site and I'm hoping to make it to at least one write-in this year. Anyone doing the same?

Hi All,
I am seriously attempting NaNo this year, i'm mixing my 3 favourite genres: Lesbian Romance, Future Sci-fi And Crime/Murder Mystery. It is going to be mainly about the crime/murder/conspiracy thats set in the future and the main character just happens to be gay and happens to fall in love (i.e. its more about the crime then the romance)
My jobless bum of a girlfriend is also going to attempt it so i will try and get her over to the forums.
I think i have added everyone but if not my name is Staticgirl (i think :S)

You can do it Sophie! We're all behind you! I'll be pushing you though especially, hehe. I think you'll definitely be OK with your story, because it's genres you're interested in, and would want to read yourself. Haha, I think Charlotte would be really good at it, she's a good writer! Get her to sign up too!

Thats my thinking, ive read 100's of these kinds of books subconsciously i should know how to write them. I know she is a great writer but has seriously low self esteem and its hard to get her to try but i think i have her convinced and ill try and get her over here so you guys can offer her the great support you offer me.

Um nopes, I don't really like the idea of it... scared limebird here... So international meet the LimeBirds week is not on the cards then..? In all serious though, I'd only decided to go to a write-in this year because I thought everyone went and that my chickening out had contributed to my failure in the last few NaNos...

Oh no, I wouldn't mind meeting people from Limebird, just not random people sitting there writing! I like to write on my own! Haha. We actually did a Limebird meet up at the beginning of the year, but that was just Limebirds. Maybe we should do a big one where all are invited. It was in London though.
