I really didn't like TGWTDT... the books or the films! On my own then.. hahah Did you see the Swedish films or the US ones? I saw the Swedish ones in Swedish with English subtitles on - really good stuff (but then I enjoy crime thrillers). You seen The Wire?

Um, I saw the first US one and I really didn't enjoy watching it. My OH saw the Swedish one and also didn't speak too highly of it. I tried to read the books so many times but I just couldn't get into them! Nope, but I do also enjoy crime thrillers!

I really couldn't get into the book though, I do intend to try that again someday. I liked both the movies but I think I might have liked the US better, it was a lot more brutal though.

The last book I read was a book called Bypass Gemini. It came in a bundle of sci-fi books from story bundle.com if you havnt heard of them it's really a great site they take a handful of books—usually about five or so—and group them together to offer as a bundle. Then you can take a look at the titles and decide how much you'd like to pay you can pay whatever you like for the bundle (I think I paid $5 and you decide what percentage goes to the writers and what percentage goes to the site you can even divide a bit off to go to a charity.)
Anyway I picked up the sci-fi bundle and within it were a couple of great books but my favorite was called bypass gemini if you have a chance to read this and you like a nice easy read sci-fi novel definitely pick this up.

I completely missed the last bit when you said I can get the book off Amazon. I had a good look on various sites and eventually found the book on the Amazon kindle market thingy, only to find I needn't have done all the looking because you'd already linked me to it, haha! OK, I just spent the last 30 minutes looking at Kindle options and I'm impressed, but I already have an iPad 2... Anyone got a Kindle/Kindle Flame? What are your thoughts? EDIT: Actually, don't answer this question here - I've added a new thread for it (saves clogging this perfectly good thread up with unrelated content) See: limebird.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=89&page=1#1212

The last book I read was a beta read of 'Drowing In You' by Rebecca Berto. It was seriously good! Hopefully it'll be out soon, so you guys can read it too!
