Finished another book, A Wizard of Earthsea. Anyone who likes fantasy and hasn't already read this really should! Ahh, Ursula Le Guin - one of my favourites! Have you read "Planet of Exile"? Sparrowhawk/Ged from Wizard of Earthsea was one of my first introductions to fantasy (quickly followed by nearly the entire bibliography of David Eddings) Last book I read was Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin. Currently reading the second one. Massive tomes, but really, really good.

I haven't read it. I read Earthsea in class. I'm sure that was a good intro. Everyone seems to be reading Game of Thrones. I may have to pick it up.

Yes, I bought Aaron the first GOT book, I don't know if he's read much of it. I want to give it a go, but books that are so big put me off because they make my arms ache.
The last book I read was 'The Crying Tree' by Naseem Rakha. I did enjoy it, but I found myself skipping through parts, which is never a good sign!

Game of Thrones is really worth reading, however massive it may be. Martin does things with his character definition that I could only dream of. It took me over 5 months to read the first one, which was great because it was like bottomless awesome Maybe Aaron could read it to you, limebirdbeth

Oh no way. He's not really a big reader and is dyslexic, he would ABSOLUTELY hate that. haha. Nice idea though.

Haha, anyone seen that TV show Sing Date? I've caught a couple of episodes (my OH watches some pretty rubbish TV) and it's hilarious!

I would love for someone to read a really good book to me while we snuggled. Ok Ams, start thinking without the romantic head.

So I'm currently not actually reading a book. I bought 'The Casual Vacancy' by JK Rowling, but I read the first few pages and haven't got back into it. Has anyone read it?

The last book I read was Wizard and Glass by Stephen King....and for some reason right now I seem to be reading at a super slow pace because the book I'm on now I've been on for a couple of months.

I've heard some really good things about it. Not read it myself though. A bit different to her last series In fact, my sister might be reading that - she works for the Folletts and I think Ken Follett is a fan. I'll ask her.

Too scary What's your current slow-paced book, loopy? Are you still on The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo? I loved the films

I loved the films I'm on the next book in the Stephen King Dark Tower series, Wizard and Glass was number 3 I think (I'm losing track here... eeep) But now I'm on the next one and I've been slowed down by a move and just general "life" issues and stuff. It's not that I don't like it though, I love me some Stephen King! And nope I never did finish Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
