I am participating in NaNoWriMo for the second year in the row. It's insanely fun! So far I've written about 33,000 words. "Insanely fun"? I nearly stopped writing for good the first year I tried Nano... I'm doing it this year though... 37,000 words was my limit.. Then my story had a massive meltdown, I started writing swearwords all over the page just to make the word count up, and I honestly felt Jack Nicholson taking over my bones at one point. NaNoWriMo 2012 will be interesting... I had major NaNo melt down last year and felt the same way, I'm going to just try again this year! I had success the first go around so surly I can again. Good luck to you!

No worries about proper sentence structure or grammar. Just storytelling. It's the only time where I feel like I can get away with anything in writing.

I thought we were supposed to start at zero words. You mean I could have been working on it this past month and still qualify? Oh well, it is what it is! lol

Or you could be a rebel and just start with the count over at where you start then. Does that sentence make sense?
