Here's another one I found: "If I love something, I want it all to myself. But if I hate something, I want everybody to hate it with me." That's brilliant and so true! Very insightful

I love this! It's a little insight into someone else's world. I have the same problem as others posting on here though - I write something down and look at it a week later and think - what the HELL was I on!? It sounds really interesting but I can't make sense of it. I sent a text to myself the other day and I think it was an idea for a blog post - if I text blog ideas to myself, I can never lose them. I just texted 'fave characters in stories' which doesn't sound like a bad idea for a post here but I'm not quite sure what my angle would have been... Any ideas?

This happens to me too. I find that if I leave the idea alone, it'll come back by itself. Or if it doesn't, it wasn't that great an idea anyway.

Another note I found this morning: "ache for all the places I have never seen and will never see"

I don't think you need an 'angle' as much, you could just say why they're your favourite characters. Obviously they wouldn't be your fave if the writer didn't write them in that particular way. Did you like that they were confident? Did you like the way they spoke? Did you relate to their story? Then get people to talk about who their fave characters are and why?

One more I found in my notebook that I wrote down during class (hehe, I pay so much attention, don't I?):
Electricity is just noise to keep the quiet out. Kids can't stand the silence.

Forgive me if this is classed as cheating, but I use my phone's "notes" feature for all my random notes. This has an added bonus as it allows me to write a note at any point (e.g. when on the loo in a pub at 22:30).
The downside is I recently got a new phone, so I only have a few on there.
Here's one that I have absolutely no idea as to the meaning:
106 days ago; 24 Jun 17:28 "Concrete mines, wire harvest"

No, I also use my phone for notes, because it's easy to do on the go. The last one I had was 'Lost and Found' random..

That's a cool one, Sophie. I've had ideas like that myself. Which makes it doubly cool.
Hmm let me check my phone for a gem...
"Waiting for the old gods"
Fits the theme.

Here's one from my nano notes from last year: "Which tense? Is past tense by default giving some of the story away?" I still don't know the answer to this one For example, if you're writing a thriller and the narrative is past tense from one of the character's point of view, then the reader could infer that that character survives the ordeal (to be able to relay the story)...
