Not sure where to put this.... so I'm going to put it here! I stumbled on this a while back and have been meaning to look more into this, you can find places to submit short stories and stuff for possible publications in magazines and things like that. Thought I'd pass it on to y'all! duotrope.com/

Hi Loupy,
Yes, I subscribe to this digest. This is the place where I find online mags to submit my short stories. It's pretty thorough and well worth researching.

I can't say I've ever heard of this... might have to investigate. Thanks Laura!

I mentioned it to my husband a few months ago and then forgot it until I randomly out of nowhere thought of it again the other day, when I posted it here. I didn't really go through anything though, until today. I randomly went to the horror section, clicked on the first one in the list (Apex) come to find out it is based in a town about 15 minutes away from me. Fate? Lol. Either way I thought it was a pretty handy site for anyone looking to send out short stories.

it's a super good resource, to be sure. the few fiction sales i've made, i have duotrope to thank for. every month or so i do a trawl and push out some short fiction, and were it not there i'd be even worse than i am at the business side of this whole thing
