Haha, well I'm trying to think how best to describe this without giving too much away! Before I post this, you don’t find out in the story what happened to the mum until about ¾ of the way through. If you want me to write what happened then I will, but I didn’t want to jump straight in there!
All I will say is that no, it wasn’t a failed abortion... *mysterious music*

Love the language and love the immediacy of it. The dialogue between Rose and Ada feels natural and it left me wanting more. Which is a very good thing.
