Thanks Soph Hello Sophie, Yes, I would say that it was Managing Director (MD) which is British, or CEO if American! Hope this helps, Beth

Managing Director is good. Could also be called Partner if it's a non-public listed company.

thanks guys i think i'll have to go with CEO as it is an american company. Ive done so much research but have been dreading the accountancy firm research ... i think my brains gonna bleed out my ears by the end of it.

Hi all just wanted to let you know that im getting my graphics tablet for xmas so you should be seeing some of the first pages for review on here soon. i would post my script as a extract for discussion but it would be really weird to read as its more like a play/movie script (dialogue mixed with actions, frame descriptions etc). anyway just to let you know of progress

I know how to read/write scripts if you need anyone to read it, I could give it a go! I've never read a comic outside of its completed form, but I could give it a whirl if you needed.

Thanks Loupy i may post a little extract in the forums after christmas then (hoping to bang out a couple issues in the christmas break). I know i havn't discussed the comic much but just to give the rough idea its based around a 8 week period in a comic book store, each week starting on a Wednesday (for those that don't know Wednesday is the busy day for comic book stores as thats the day of releases) so each issue will be a week (wednesday to the next tuesday etc) As of yet im not sure if that format will work but thats what im aiming for so far. If any one has any tips/ideas/comments please let me know i've never attempted to write anything let alone write, draw and ink a entire series of comics so any suggestions are very welcome

I don't know anything about how to write a comic but I do know if you need any formatting software or anything I think Celtx has a comic option and its a free software.

What type of tablet are you getting? I have just a small one at home but get to work on a ginormous one at the day job. I'd love to smuggle it home but I'd need a bigger coat. LOL

I just got a aiptek slim 600U it's about £50 so quite low budget but it is large (about A4) I could of got a waccom but would of only been able to afford about a A6 size so until I save up some mega bucks I had to compromise. Havnt actually had a chance to try it out yet, dam that busy holiday period but hopefully I can give it a go and get some rough pages started!
