OK, bit of a weird one this... There I was happily pantsing the beginning of chapter 7 when a word darted out of my brain and onto the screen that just seemed to fit. And I'm not talking whacko, crazy fit - I've read the sentence back several times and it just works. I'm guessing there's probably some unwritten rule that says you can't just go around making up words (or perhaps it's a written rule...?), but here it is, just in case (I've taken the liberty of writing a definition for it, haha): Rabbogands (noun): A rabble of unseemly men or women who prey on the weak, poor or undefended. Pirates. Here's the sentence it arrived in: "He would seek out lawless rabbogands and round them up..." I'm thinking perhaps it's a mixture of "rabble" and "brigands". Is this okay? It's not really okay is it...

Sure it's ok! Why not? Dahl/Tolkein/Shakespeare/Suess all made up words! Why can't you? I think it fits too
