Can't believe I did another one! Here it is:
The blanket is still warm. The corner where I embroidered a “P” is damp. I try to fold it but can’t get the edges to line up. I try three more times before I scream and throw it on the rocking chair.
The impact makes the chair sway, clicking with each forward motion. We used to fall asleep to that clicking sound, wrapped up in the blanket, listening to each other breathing.
I crumple to the floor, holding my knees to my chest. I stare around the room from this view, realizing this is what my daughter used to see.

These are awesome. I think I'm going to do a blog with our 100 word stories in and then link back to the forum. Is everyone OK with me using their stories? Sure thing! ;D

A man dared his friend to count to exactly one hundred without stopping for £10...
His friend laughed and said,
“One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty, twenty-one, twenty-two, twenty-three, twenty-four, twenty-five, twenty-six, twenty-seven, twenty-eight, twenty-nine, thirty, thirty-one, thirty-two, thirty-three, thirty-four, thirty-five, thirty-six, thirty-seven, thirty-eight, thirty-nine, forty, forty-one, forty-two, forty-three, forty-four, forty-five, forty-six, forty-seven, forty-eight, forty-nine, fifty...”
Then the man randomly sneezed, most likely due to the pepper blown in his face and lost the dare. Losing his pride too, he went home a defeated man.

I love your new one, 4am (Kate, right? I get confused sometimes.) And yay for using our stories ---- Hahaha, there was a whole other page that I missed. I'm completely fine with it. xD Just maybe put a link to the blog that inspired it, I left a comment with the links. I think you can decide if you need to or not, I'm not sure! And Peter's is funny, but I think he cheated. I'm going to remember him as a cheater until he posts a different one. Sorry I didn't see this sooner! You should just usually assume I'm ok with anything you wanna do regarding my stuff and you guys. <3

jfb57.wordpress.com/2011/12/12/100-word-challenge-for-grown-ups-week23/Week 23 is up if anyone wants to take part. I'm not sure if I can! I don't do tunes well! (Nor do I know any holiday songs ) ---- And here's a new 100 word or less I wrote (81 words xD) The glossy lake frozen over with ice seemed safe. It melted beneath our feet. We didn’t know; how could we? If only we’d known, we could have saved ourselves. Then we heard the crack and it was too late. I just wanted to warn you about the ice. The ice you’re standing on right now. Well, the ice you were standing on. BREAKING NEWS: LAKE CLAIMS LIVES OF MORE TEENAGERS THIS YEAR LAND OWNER POSTS NO TRESSPASSING SIGN—IS IT ENOUGH?
