Hi All, Sorry i've been missing i have been up to my eyeballs at work and home! The comic is now a book because i barely have time to write let alone draw aswell! I have made some progress but not a awful lot. I think my hesitancy is still down to this fact that i cant decide where i want my characters to go and the fact that i cant think of something makes me feel like maybe the story idea is no good to begin with! Basically i'm crippling myself with self doubt (as usual). I have decided however that enough is enough and as soon as i have a weekend where i'm not spending every waking minute staring at HTML/CSS/Photoshop, i will continue with the writing and i'm positive that if i dont think it over too much i might just get enough words out to encourage me to continue . I know this is probably not the best approach but hey everyones different and none of the normal methods (for doing anything) work for me! How is everyone else getting on?

You'll get through. It can only suck for a little while, it always has to get better. I'm getting on as well as I can.

Sophie, Nano might be helpful for you with this. I think any story idea is a worthwhile one, but I think it helps to love it yourself. If you're only half in it, then it'll drag. As far as being unable to decide where to take the story, pantsing it and letting the characters do their thing might be the way to go. That's why I'm thinking Nano will be good for you. I haven't gotten as much writing done this year as I would have liked. I got stuck with revisions. Again. Aaargh. But I'm looking forward to Nano as it gives me an excuse to write something new.
